3 Years!!

WOW!! I cannot believe it has been 3 years since I started Always Be Joyful. I was only 17 bored in the house because COVID had shut everything down. I wanted something to do so I started another instagram account titled after my favorite bible verse 1 Thessalonians 5:16. The goal for this account has always been to just make people smile and share the reason I smile which is because of Jesus. After a few months I decided to start it as a small business by creating shirts on Bonfire to sell (you can find a link to the store on the top of the home page titled “Store”). After summer ended and school picked back up, Always Be Joyful kinda faded out of my mind. I was figuring out how to balance school, dance, and posting consistently. It did not work very well. Right after I graduated high school in 2021 (wow that feels like forever ago) I tried once again to start Always Be Joyful back up. But once again, I was not prepared to balance an ever changing schedule. I was now working two jobs and going to school. 2022, I have decided to update my theme and logo to more modern neutral colors and post more often. I started researching how to grow on social media and found some tips that really helped. But again, life got busy and I ended up moving out of my house for school. Something earlier this year clicked in my brain, what if I had a small business type ministry? So during spring break when life seemed to freeze, I sat and prayed and thought very hard about what that would look like. I came to the conclusion that it would look exactly like it sounds. A small business that glorifies God and spreads the hope, peace, and of course joy that you can find in Him. I came up with a color scheme I like, one that was not too dark and neutral but bright like happiness. Sunflowers are my favorite flower, they remind me to face the one who brings me life and when I can’t seem to find Him, turn to someone who can help me find Him again. Just how sunflowers look to the Sun, we should look to the SON. So of course the sunflower became a part of my new logo. Now we have the new and improved Always Be Joyful! I cannot wait to see how God uses this to grow His kingdome of sunflowers that turn to the Son for life. Thank you for reading and supporting Always Be Joyful, don’t ever turn away from the Son.
